General Capabilities

Choctaw Transportation Company is based in Dyer County, Tennessee.  We have the capabilities of material storage, barge and land-based transportation, loading and unloading of barge and land-based materials, and all types of marine construction on the Mississippi, Tennessee, Cumberland Rivers and tributaries.  Our offices and port facility with certified scales are located just off the Mississippi River at Mile 832 on Everett's Lake in Dyer County, Tennessee.  This location puts us only five miles from Interstate 155.

Our fleet of equipment includes seven tender boats, numerous material barges, six loading / unloading cranes, thirty plus material trucks and all types of land based construction equipment.  Our single load lifting capacity is 125 tons per crane.  Choctaw Transportation Company holds the highest standard of safety, both for our employees and the general public.  This is evidenced by a proven track record of safety over several decades.
